Shelley is a valued member of the Construction & Real Estate Practice, with more than 20 years of experience helping midsize contractors grow their companies through a combination of tax and consulting services. Shelley’s expertise includes tax compliance, planning, and consulting services.

Outside of her work with Forvis Mazars, she is heavily involved in the community through various charitable/nonprofit organizations. She is heavily involved in the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).  She currently is a member of the National Specialty Contractor Committee.  She served as president of the San Antonio chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and sits on the chapter board of directors of the same organization. In addition, Shelley is a member of the Texas Lutheran University Development Board and serves on the audit committee for the same university.

Shelley’s commitment to giving back also extends beyond her professional affiliations. She is involved with the Pen Pal in the Communities in Schools program in San Antonio, using her time and resources to positively impact the lives of young people in her community.

She is a 2003 graduate of Texas Lutheran University, Seguin, with a B.B.A. degree in accounting. In addition to her educational background, Shelley holds certifications from the American Institute of CPAs, TXCPA, and CFMA, demonstrating her commitment to professional development and expertise.
