Membership
The Massachusetts Chapter is dedicated to promoting and facilitating educational programs in order for its members to be at the forefront of the construction industry. Being able to bring comprehensive, informative and timely information to our members is at the core of CFMA. Our members are able to foster relationships within the organization in order to gain knowledge from their peers and then take this knowledge to strengthen their own policies and procedures within their respective companies.
In addition to this, the chapter strives to advance the construction industry workplace by annually awarding scholarships to those students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in the field of Accounting or Finance, Engineering, Architecture or Project Management.
Finally, the chapter looks to re-invest in CFMA by including reimbursement in CFMA’s National Conference, the exam for Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals, Spring Creek (a retreat for incoming President’s) and keeping the membership active by offering a free meeting to any prospective member and also to those members who bring in a new member.
