Accounts Manager / Controller
New England Foundation Co., Inc.
Small, dynamic construction firm with Office located in Hyde Park (Boston), MA is seeking a full time Accounts Manager – Controller. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who demonstrates initiative that can help us meet our goals by keeping our office running smoothly and interacting with our Equipment Yard staff (located in Andover, MA) and Field crews (located at various job sites). Successful candidate to start immediately or as soon as possible to allow for training,
Job Duties:
Preparing weekly Payroll
Processing Union Benefits (weekly & monthly)
Evaluating cash balances and bank reconciliations (daily)
Managing Accounts Payable and Receivables
Overseeing 401K, health and dental benefits for small office staff
Maintaining and ordering office supplies
Managing cell & office phone systems
Maintaining vehicle (car, pickup trucks) records
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CCIFP preferred but not required)
At least 3 years Office Accounting experience, preferably in the construction sector
Demonstrates organizational skills along with accuracy and attention to detail
Strong knowledge of accounting concepts
Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Familiarity with accounting software in general (we are currently using CF Data Systems and will train successful candidate)
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
Able to deal with multiple tasks and be flexible with changing priorities

Preferred Education: 4 Year Degree
Salary: $80,000 to $90,000
