Michael Crook is a Managing Director and Head of UHNW and Institutional Strategy for CIO Americas, Wealth Management. Michael advises institutional and individual investors on asset allocation, goals-based investing, and using a total wealth approach to achieving their objectives.

Michael joined UBS in 2010. Prior to UBS, he worked as a discretionary portfolio manager and senior investment strategist at Barclays and Lehman Brothers. He is the author of numerous articles relating to investment strategy and goals-based investing, including publications in the Journal of Wealth Management, the Journal of Investing, and the Journal of Index Investing.

Michael is also a former adjunct professor of economics at Marymount Manhattan College.Michael is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).Michael has appeared regularly on Fox Business News, Bloomberg, and BNN. He is also quoted widely in numerous newspaper and investment outlets.

Michael earned a B.S. in consumer economics at the University of Georgia. He also earned a M.A. in economics at New York University.
